so i have read all of these in a month excluding harry potter the house of night and twilight id read these before::::: -the luxe series- the luxe rumors and envy -warrior heir wizard heir and then later the dragon heir -the uglies series -harry potter series -twilight series -the host even though it falls into the sci-fi genre it is still and amazing book -city of bones series are absolutely amazing and wonderful:) -house of night novels -evermore -vampire academy i am going crazy and i have read harry potter and twilight so many times that i could quote each book indefinitely i like all these books because all of the characters have pretty well the same feel please if you know any good series or single books like these it would be a big help im going to be counselor at camp for seven weeks and that long without something to read will be torture more

it's going to be a romance/thiller I have the storyline somewhat planned out. It's about a 15 year old girl needed either Lacey or Rachelle, I can decide. But anyway her parents got divorced when she was 13, and she has been living with her mom. One night when she is 15 her mother comes home drunk, and she is screaming about a magical family. Lacey/Rachelle is trying to her drown when her mother cuts Lacey/Rachelle under the eye, leaving a long red scare that Lacey/Rachelle wears lots of black eyeliner to cover up. Then that night Lacey/Rachelle's mother commits suicide. Lacey/Rachelle moves an hour away to live with her father and his family. He is remarried with 3 step children that he loves very much, and this makes Lacey/Rachelle jealous. Lacey/Rachelle starts a new school where she is very much the outcast. Her stereotype is emo and everyone in this town has heard crazy rumors about Lacey/Rachelle. No one knows the real truth. At her new school there is strange boy. There is something special about him. Lacey/Rachelle can't seem to figure it out, has she trys to get closer with him to find his secret, she unknowing falls in love with him. But there magical family that Lacey/Rachelle's mother was screaming about has something to do with this beautiful boy. My questions are... Is that a good plot? What shoud the main charater's name be? Lacey or Rachelle? I need a name for the guy. I don't have any ideas for him so just give me good suggestions. And what kind of magical person should the guy be? Vampire, but thats to twilight. I have already read the Twilight series, so don't suggest it. I'm currently reading The Host and I Personal think its better than Twilight. I don't like any books like the Clique series, so don't suggest those either. I really liked the Luxe and Rumors. Resolved Question: Where can I purchase UK Copies of the Harry Potter Books? NOT the US Edited but the ORIGIONAL version?

I was told by a friend that lives in France and works at a book shop that she can't legally sell me copies of the British Cut of the Harry Potter Books because of international copyright and distribution rights. She isn't coming back to the US in the foreseeable future so she can't just buy a set there and give them to me when she comes to visit. I heard a rumor that you can get a set of the NON-AMERICAN EDIT of the series in Canada but that is a long way to go to get some books... The cost of gas alone would make it a stupid thing to do. So do you know of an online retailer that sells the ORIGINAL UK EDIT of the series? I don't care about hard cover or first edition or anything like that, I just want to read the ORIGINAL VERSION and see how it differs from the American Edit. (In general, when things get edited for distribution in the US, it tends to dumb it down QUITE A BIT and small changes to "Fit the Culture" can change the meaning in ways that the editors don't realize...) I didn’t even know there was an American Edit and Original Version until after I read the series! Whenever my friends get mad at me they pee on my stuff! One time they were mad at me because I didn't want to do what they did and one of my friends pulled down her pants and underwear and peed on my new shirt. I was so upset I was crying. Continue writing about the Harry Potter series? While I think the main series is finished, there have been rumors about possible prequels and chronicles, about characters other than Harry, such as the Marauders or Dumbledore... I personally think she should leave it alone. The seven books were great, and J.K. Rowling did a fantastic job of finishing the series with Deathly Hallows. Don't get me wrong, I was and still am a HUGE hardcore fan. I miss the once ever-present feeling of anticipation for a new book sooooooooo bad, and I cried for days after it ended. Before I start, I just want to say I love the Harry Potter series. It's the best book series i've ever read, and the movies are great too. Am i athiest or santanic? No, not at all. I'm a Christan, and I don't see how reading this book series makes me evil. I read a post on here, and they said watching the Golden Compass was a sin. They went as far to tell us what we would do as a sin. How have people of today become so judging? I've heard RUMORS that in the end they kill god. Also, have you seen the narnia movie or the series? Yeah, the Lion is symbolic of God. He dies, but he doesn't die in vain. And he comes back, as any Christian knows of Jesus. I don't think people should judge so harshly. But go ahead. Warning: Page contains Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows spoilers. Kinda obvious.. but anyway.. I finished reading it a few hours ago. Total shock. So thought i'd post this here.. what were the top 3 best and worst things you thought about the book? My Top 3: 1. When Molly screamed "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU B*TCH!". And how everyone kept saying "effing". I know its a kids book, but its about time it turned realistic. Oh.. and everyone was a lot more 'human'. 2. Snape.. Lily?? I ALWAYS hated Snape, from book 1 up to one of the last chapters. Then we find out he was friends with Lily, and secretly in love with her? Classic. Didn't see it coming. Thought it was just one of those stupid rumors/ships, like how Draco secretly loves Hermione. 3. Just.. everything. I absolutely HATED the ending, but before that everything was fudging fantastic.My Bottom 3: 1. Felt like I was reading fanfiction. Hermione and Ginny turned into 'mary sues' (look it up) and the 19 years later ending? Kids everywhere? Everyone (supposedly) married? It sorta ruined the rest of the book/series in my opinion.. Because honestly if I wanted to read that kind of ending I'd just log onto www.fanfiction.net. 2. I know basically every single plot device has been taken (Theres what, millions of books) but I had deja vu the whole time. The snake coming out of Bathilda was like The Silver Chair. The lockets power was like LOTR. Mocking harrys body after he 'died' was like The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Figuring out the Hallows was like The Da Vinci Code. The doe in the woods was like Prince Caspian. Any book written nowadays will have similar plots with other books, but still... 3. What the HELL happened to everyone?? Wheres Pettigrew? Dean? And.. Fred and Dobby :( Cries. Overall, I thought it was good.. but hated the ending. Wbu guys?I look like such a dork by adding details.. but I just random remembered.. DUDLEY! more
