Open Question: Preparation for Harvard!!!?

This is a very serious question..! I am a boy in grade 9, and desperately want to go to Harvard or Yale University, and I believe it would be really sensible to start preparing NOW. The problem is, I have no nothing. I have no talents, no skills, and I'm simply not good at anything. I don't even get good grades. But that's the past, and I want to open up a new massive future, and decided to go to one of the top universities of all. I know what it takes to get into it. I only have 2 and a half years left, and do you think I can make myself up for Harvard in that short time?? I heard you have to have all kinds of activities and talents to get into it. And what gave me even more a shock, is the fact that Harvard only accepts 5% of the people who try out for it. is this true?? I mean, wouldn't anyone who try out for Harvard be perfect at everything as well??? What happened to the other 95%? Why do THEY get rejected?? And how could I get into it with the pressure of having to be perfect at everything, and trying to get into the 5% catagory..???? It just seems impossible!!! Do I have the time and chance?? Please answer this in all seriousness. And I'd also like a few answers from people who previously went into one of the Ivy league schools. Do you literally have to work every day and night? every hour? No TV or games or hanging out with friends?? No holidays....??? I do have the passion, and I am willing to do anything it takes to get into it. Even if it means dumping my TV. All your answers will be extremely gratefull, and I will take them into heart. Open Question: What's your first crush story?

Mine was... My first crush was on a boy named Tyler. He was alittle shoter than me and had the cutest face (sorta like Peter Pan =]). One day at recess I was just playing teatherball, and he came over to vs. me cause I was the so called undefeatable player (lets just say that we will probably never play that game together again). And from that moment I liked him, his line was next to our class line and I knew he always sat at the end of the line so I would take my time walking to the line just to sit by him. I kept it a secret for a couple days and I even asked my brother for advice. On weekends I would be so excited when it came to monday again just to see him again. In the morning my dad used to walk me to line so I would beg my dad not to walk me to line anymore (I was in the 5th grade). I told my friends I liked him that day and I was shocked when they told me "Eww you like him he's ugly!"(he's really cute) Lol, I also had friend in his class, so I told her to tell the boy I liked that someone in my class likes him I didnt want him to know it was me -- yet. The next day I asked my friend what did he do when he she just said he went pink and said uuuhhhh. So then I told her in the morning that she could tell him it was me who liked him, I watched her tell him and point to me. I started taking more showers, and spending alittle more time in the morning for him. I knew where he sat at lunch, so I would sit 1 table behide him just to see him at lunch, and I started playing on the field just to be near him. A few day later on a friday he gave me a heart necklace, and told me that he liked me too, then he just walked away. I was shocked! But that day me and my best friends got into a fight and they told be they didn't want to be my friends anymore, so I cried and cried. And my crush at the end of the day was there for me he waited for me outside of my class room and asked what was wrong and made me feel better, he even hugged me. So, then I started hanging out with new people which hung out with him. And a couple weeks later everyone knew we liked each other. And people started asking if we were going out. A couple months later our classes went on field trips together his dad came and my mom came. So my mom introduced herself to him so embrassing, and her dad introduced himself to me. We rode a boat on our feild trip and me and my crush sat next to eachother and I fell asleep on his shoulder but he didnt mind. And then few days later school ended, for summer vacation. I joined the swim team just to be with him. So now I'm going into the 6th grade with him can't wait, Hehe! more

This weekend we have relatives over. The ages here are SO different, we have nothing in common or to do. Two 9 yr old, One 7 yr old, Two 11 year olds, Two 4 yr olds, and One 14 yr old. There are a total of 8 kids, 4 boys, 4 girls. The girls have nothing and they HATE dolls. All the boys are going to do is play viedo games. ANY ideas for the kids to do ???? more

Open Question: Help.. what are these school learning games from back in the day?

Ok, back in the lost days of the mid to late nineties there were a few computer (learning) games that were floating around. All of a sudden I have a desire to play them. The unfortunate part is that, although I sustain a rather vivid image of the games themselves, I cannot remember the names. This could be a fun trip to yesteryear for some of us. So, without further stalling for time, here are some brief descriptions(I will try my best): 1. The first and possibly the coolest was a game in which you started as a little boy on a cruise ship your parents. You were all on vacation through the Bermuda Triangle when suddenly you hit some time warp or something crazy. Next thin you know, you're stranding on an island inside the body of a weird looking doll. (I recall a creepy image of a swirling circle inside the mouth of the doll and you fall into it) After that, the whole goal is to explore the island and figure out puzzles and collect parts to some magical machine. I think there's a witch who dod all this to you some where in there. I also remember a game with music records lying on the beach and you had to pick the correct one or something. There was a big pot in which you mixed your collected items too... 2. This is a rather brief one, but still awesome none the less... There were multiple levels in a shoe making factory where you had to manage the shoe making line with all kinds of widgets and gadgets and whatnot. I believe there were workers. 3. This one rocked... I was a game based on spelling... in the amazon. There was a super old and wise shawmen with a robe, was bald, held a staff and asked you to spell things. At the end of every level you were asked to spell a ton of words that you learned or you couldn't advance. This took place on, you guessed it, the Amazon river. You were on a crude wooden raft and whatnot. 4. The last one is going to be vague... It was a game that was based on pulleys and physics. You was to figure out the push and pull of things to lift objects. I believe there were goofy characters and not great graphics. This one (unlike the rest) may have been on a Macintosh floppy disk. Man I feel old. Anyway that's it. Some games that I actually do remember are... Snake, Oregon Trail, Oregon Trail III (2 went missing somewhere...) and that horrible Mac math game that everyone chose lat on computer game days.... Huzzah for getting old! Peace be with all. more

Open Question: What does my dream mean?

My dream started with me on a pier and around me and other on lookers were a few GIANT rainbow fish and a few sharks, no one knew what that GIANT fish was. And there were two girls and an older lady who werent afraid to go in the water. I was so scared i didnt even wanna go near the water. I then just flew away and was going somewhere but didnt know where. I landed at a baseball game and i was late and so was this other boy and we were star players of the team and we were best friends and i didnt know who he was. we both called our place to hit we said these numbers and i dont know what they were. He was up to bat before me and announced to everyone in the stands that he would hit and i would bring him home. He hit and made it to second or third. Then it was my hit and i kept missing. And then the officials said we had to end the game but the score was 3 to 4 and we were loosing (but the score was different earlier in the game) so it meant we lost, but our coach said let me hit one more time and the game would be done. So i hit and brang my friend home but i was stuck between 3rd and home and they were tossing the ball back and forth and i faked run back to third and the home basemen threw it to third and i ran home and won the game. but everyone was hugging eachother no one payed attention to me (except my friend) even tho i won the game. then once the team hugged eachother they all ran to us to congradulate me and my friend. we were the best players on the team and it took awhile for everyone to come congradulate us. then me and my friend was walking the halls of my high school and my dream ended. for some reason i loved that dream and tried to get back but i just dreamt of practicing different sports for the rest of my sleep. Anyine knows what this means. sorry if my dream dont make sense. more

Open Question: Help! Boy/Tennis is really making me frustrated?!?

I'm going into high school next year (freshman) and we have to have 1.5 credits of P.E./sports so I've taken up tennis. OMG mistake! I suck at tennis! I didn't know it before because I thought it would be easy but it is a lot harder than it looks. After a dozen or so lessons (that really didn't make much of a difference) I became somewhat unsure whether or not I should even play or not. So then there is this guy, who is a friend of mine, asks me to play with him and some of his pals. And I do so terribly that I never ever want to play again. And the worst part is his friend is so negative and conceited it makes me so mad that I'm self-conscious then I mess up. Like if I miss or something he would mutter "wow you suck" and other stuff. I can't say anything because they are like best friends and I barely know the guy. I get my serves in and I can hit well some times but mostly my returns are either out or I miss the ball completely. My friend is really nice about it and says stuff like he knows people who are worst (although he didn't come up with any names) and I'm not that bad but I don't want his pity. I want to talk to him and not sulk, be stupid and quiet, but sometimes it's extremely hard too. And in a way I felt kinda like an outsider because they have their conversation and I'm like wha--? And the worst part is that he treats me like one of those dinner guest you are nice too but not friendly with (which is kinda what we are). I mean this is officially the first time I've played tennis with people my age; a real game using the whole singles court, but it's enough to discourage me. I am good at other things, just not sports. I don't want to give up tennis but if I suck this bad maybe I should. Advice? Thanks! more

Open Question: College Party suggestions/ expertise needed?

Like the title says, I am going to start throwing parties, and I am looking for “Tips” OK, I am a college student and go to a big ten school, where there is LOTS of partying. I go out 2 times, sometimes 3 times a week, and go to house parties, bars, frat parties, themed parties, holiday parties, etc. I would like to think that I have seen some veerrryyyy crazy stuff in my time here at school, so I am not a “novice” at partying. I, however, am looking for that elusive quality most party’s lack: uniqueness. I feel that my “partying education” is pretty much over, as I have seen basically everything, and it is now my turn to throw the parties. I know that I could throw a pretty good party right now, and include music, alcohol, drinking games, girls, nudity, casual sex (hopefully) and etc that most every respectable college party has. BUT I do not want to throw a respectable party. I want to throw THE party. I want the party’s that I throw to be talked about; I want people to be excited not just to go out and party some weekend, but actually be excited to go to MY party because I’M throwing it. I want people to have so much fun that they cannot wait until the next party is thrown. You understand? And to pull this off, I’m convinced all I need is creativity and uniqueness. So what I’m asking from you is your creative ideas or awesome party stories. Maybe you went to a party and they played this certain game that was SOOO fun and you have never see it duplicated at any other party? Maybe, instead of a beer bong, this party had some unique drinking device that you’ve never seen again? Maybe you’ve been to a party and the music selection was so good, it really stuck with you? Maybe there was really cool theme that you’ve never seen, nor heard of before? Maybe instead of jungle juice, or strip and go naked, there was a very good tasting/interesting mixed drink?? I want you to think of your greatest party you’ve ever been to, and tell me why it was so fun. I want you to tell me what you hate about parties, and what you love about parties. I want you to tell the thing you wish they had at every party, but sadly isn’t. What I DO NOT WANT is for you to tell me that “you should play music and have a beer pong table”. I WANT CREATIVITY!!! The coolest story/ suggestion/tip/ unique event will get +10. P.S. I know I may sound like a drunken frat-boy douchebag but I assure you I’m not. I maintain over a 3.0 gpa, and I am majoring in mechanical engineering, and I do plan on pursuing a career and doing something with my life one day. But I am also a firm believer in the phrase “Why do something if it’s not worth doing well?” ;) P.P.S. I know all frat boys aren’t d-bags, it’s just a stereotype, sorry. I’m sure my best ideas will come from you and I appreciate your input immensely. more

Open Question: Whut is going on here?

Alright so there is this boy who plays on a team of mine. For a while people have been saying he likes me. He does the following: -treats me different than everyone else (other team mates have picked up on this). -teases me in a jokingly fashion. -when i talk to him, he'll just smile or giggle. -he never really keeps much eye contact, but sometimes yes. like we'll look at each other, maybe keep eye contact longer than natural and sometimes we'll both look away. -he has a game that centers around me that he wont pass the ball to me during inning switch practice, he calls it 'the game'. Many have told me they think he likes me. Btw. I do like him. He's 14, and Im 15, btw is it weird if Im the older one here? Im going into grade 10, and him 9. Open Question: What the hell is the point of glitching in Cod world at war?

i play ps3 and ...In almost all game modes theres a glitcher..thank god they fixed it for the better in multiplayer..but in general what is the point of it..last time i checked video games are for fun..not for having good stats and showing off..especcially those guys at the top of the leader boards in kills..how the hell is it even possible to kill 16 000 people in a row..games end dont they? and in zombies its horrible also..i find guys who glitch horrible..honestly why the hell cant you play the game fairly and have honest leaderboards for real..ive gotten to 33 in verruct with strategy and 25 so far in shi no numa with strategy with two guys. The only glitch in all fairness i find fun and fair is the three gun glitch..give me some feed back.. and no 360 fan boys coming in and saying there are only glitchers on ps3 and not on 360. more

I love disney cartoons and other cartoons such as smurfs etc im 20 years old girl and people tell me i look 14-15 i love amusement parks i love soft cute toys i never had a job i love playing with animals and nice kids people my age i feel are too mature for me and i we dont really get a long cause they sit there quietly acting all mature :S and i love dying my hiar blue to look like a smurf people tell me im cute my dream is to own a small island have a amusement park, a zoo with animals but animals all free and stuff, a nice house like neverland not mj's neverland but the real neverland but no evil pirates... and just live there and enjoy life all day playing games dressing up, climbing trees, listening to music etc.. i dont want to have to live the normal adult life also im asexual which means im not sexually attracted to boys or girls. kids love me everytime i get cousins over they talk to me i think its cause they think i am a kid myself cause i look really young my question is, do you think im a freak? im not stupid or anything im done my highschool in normal classes and i got good grades also im taking wildlife biology in college and doing good.I don't have Autism or anything because in high school they tested everything like that and they saw that my brain is normal functioning and my IQ was good enough to be in normal classes. more

I am a grandmother who thinks the kids need something to do around here. I don't know much about baseball. Any helpful ideas? My grandson is 6 and a half. He has no close kids his age to play with. Mine is peek-a-boo. My cat will attack my head when I do this from behind the couch. We also play with catnip bubbles. The cat likes to fetch the most and brings me the ball in bed sometimes. He's the only cat I've had that fetches. Egyptian Maus love to do this I guess. Sometimes I think he is a dog and I say, "That's a good boy". more

I was thinking about stuff to do for my 14th birthday. And i was planning on having a BBQ at mine. Invite quite a lot of people. (20) Then about 5 sleep round. I was thinking about having 3 girls and 2 boys sleep round. It would be a laugh. Play games like 7 minutes in heaven. And the nervous test. Stuff like that. Open Question: um...i think i have a crush on my brother in law?

I adore my husband. Absolutely adore him and I love him to pieces. But when I was recently around his brother, I found myself trying to hide my smile from him and kind of acting like how i do when i have a crush on someone. And lately I found myself thinking; what if it had been his brother who I had been with instead of my husband? See...i've always been kind of attracted more to the bad boys. My husband isn't much of a daredevil. He takes risks sometimes but not often. And he never wants to go anywhere or do anything with me. He just stays home and plays on his computer games. He doesn't even touch alcohol either. He won't go near it. And he won't go near parties or anything. I love that he's a good guy. But sometimes i found myself wishing he would be more like his brother. His brother is younger than him but he smokes every once in awhile, he drinks, he drives and has his own car, he's in the navy...and he looks just like my husband. He's like...the bad boy version of my husband. Is there something wrong with me or does it mean that i still have a crush on my husband and I'm jsut wanting him to be someone else? like...i love my husband but i'm so confused. My friend told me i have a crush on my husband but i have a crush on his brother's personality. Do you agree? Open Question: Help!!!!, my son can't stand losing.?

My 9 1/2 year can never handle losing at anything. He plays sports but if he strikes out at baseball or doesn't run the fastest then he gets angry and has a 2 year old type tantrum. (None of the others are bothered by him getting an out, he is just down on himself!) Even simple board games with our family makes him behave this way. He is starting to become outcasted from his friends and I fear this will only grow worse the older he becomes unless we can come up with a solution to make him see that he can't win at everything. My husband is just beside himself he has even started to say that our daughter is more of a boy than he is (not to him directly) and I can't say I blame him. He is just not capable of being competitive at all in anything and I blame myself for babying him so much in the past but I wonder can that be undone now or is he doomed to being this way? I hate seeing him crying because a friend no longer wants to hang out with him anymore or his teammates on his baseball team didn't invite him to the pool party on the last day of school ( these instances actually happened), as his mother it tears me up inside. I don't want to see him spend the entire summer alone but his friends don't call him anymore unless he calls them. I can't stand seeing my little boy setting himself up like this, please advise me as to what I can do. more

my first time boyfirend and I have been going out for six months now and we are both shy and timid. I'm his first girl friend and he is my first boyfriend. I really like him and I've tried to let him know as much as I can to make him more comfortable. Our first hug was a day into our dating before a basketball game, which we both play and hugs became a common thing, every game i'd get a hug. As soon as basketball ended so did the hugs. A few months later, our friend had a couple birthday party. This is where we first kissed, just a quick peck on the cheek, although i think it was supposed to be on the lips. Open Question: Fallout 3 problem, I cannot stop shooting?

I have no idea whats going on! Just a plain average day, I go to play some Fallout 3, I load up from my last save point and I automatically shot whatever gun I had...lol, kinda random...I bring up my Pip-Boy to see what quest I was doing last time and what equipment I have...okay, ready to go...*lowers Pip-Boy* I shoot my weapon again! So I test this...I keep bringing up my Pip-Boy and then I go back to the game...it seems that whenever I go to my Pip-Boy menu and exit it I shoot or fire my weapon...I tried to ignore that but now I noticed my firing button does NOT work! (Xbox360, right trigger, RT) I have pressed it countless times and nothing happens...I also had to go to the bathroom so I paused the game, when I got back I fired again! So my problem is that every time I go into the Pip-Boy menu or pause my game, I fire my weapon when I exit the menu and my shooting button does not even work! I tried swapping my controllers but it does not work either! I need some help! I've tried shutting off my Xbox360 and bring up the game again but it keeps happening! I can't really play anymore if I keep shooting my companions and town commons in the face! I appreciate any help! more

I have a 7yr old boy who has decided to start writing small things on walls, furniture, toilet lid, painted walls. He confessed to doing it..and promised not to do it again. BUT!!! he keeps doing it. I have been involved with my current boyfriend of six months for almost two years. I have never been interested in another boy since. But since I don't have much experience or example I go off of what I know. I am very smart. But lately it seems like all my boyfriend does is disappoint me. Ok, so, I posted this before but didn't get much of a response. Just tell me what you think, good or bad. Prologue Elaine Evans pulled her sweater tighter around her slim frame, shoving curling strands of auburn hair back from her face. From the bassinette resting in the corner, came a baby’s tortured wail. Tears welled in Elaine’s eyes as she turned her back on her son, praying that the screaming wouldn’t wake her four-year-old daughter. This was the way it had to be. Her son could never know her; her daughter would never remember her. It was better this way. They would be safer this way. At least, that’s what she told herself. She could only trust that she was making the right choice. She didn’t know what other choice she could make. “Hurry up Elaine,” said the girl who watched her from the corner, boredom plastered all over her face. Raven hair framed her pretty face and violet eyes. She wore dark skinny jeans and a graphic tee, a Game Boy balanced on her skinny fingers. “They’re coming, I can smell them already. Lots of ‘em too, he must really want you gone. I don’t see why he can’t just poison a box of chocolates and stick them in your mailbox. Open Question: Pokemon Silver version not working?

OK, I have had a Silver version in the past my brother gave to me. Whenever I tried to save it would not save, and when it did save and I went to load the game the save file would be gone! I got rid of that game, and now my sister got me a Silver version game from a garage sale. This one saves, but when you go to load the save file it says 'save file corrupted' and the file deletes itself. Can anyone tell me what to do? I don't know if a game store can fix this or not. I tried playing the game on: My Game Boy Color, a Game Boy Advance, and a Game Boy SP. All had the same results. Also, has anyone else had this problem? Open Question: (LONG) She HATES us! What did we do?

((Background)) My husband has a really good friend. He doesn't have alot of friends because he's from a big family and so his "friends" are sort of built in... but we don't live anywhere near them at this time in our lives so it's great to me that he has this friend. Let's call the friend, K. K lives on the low side of town. Our side of town is NOT much better but if you want "hood" you get "hood" living where K lives. K and my husband both have wives. So it's only reasonable that the could relate to each other, right? K looks up to my husband because my husband has good ideas that save our money. So he goes home and tries to implement those ideas. ((Confession)) Okay. So, my husband tells me a few weeks ago, that he thinks K's wife doesn't like him. Let's call her P. I couldn't guess why she would dislike him, being that he's never so much as spoken to her. I've gone over there a few times, and it just seems as if she's too busy even to say hi. We went over there a couple of Sundays ago for a BBQ K had. P still didn't speak -- but I met her whole family who were all very nice people and made me and my family feel comfortable. So, we had a good time. Last Friday, we went over there. We observe the Sabbath, so my husband needed to drop his paperwork off with a coworker because he would not be able to do it Saturday morning. Since K and my husband like each other so much, and our kids get along real well, my husband brought the kids and I, along with the kids' bikes, so they could ride around with their friends and have a good time. P's mother was there; she was not there. She remembered me and so she played the hostess and we sat together talking and watching the children. It was a good time. Meanwhile my husband and K hung out on the other side of the house (like outside, on the side, because that's where the grill is). P came home from the store. She screeched in and got out the car. An onslaught of cursing is what we heard when she got out. "Motherf-er, I told you! I told you, I WARNED you. I WARNED you, motherf-er!" What the? She was slinging her groceries out of the SUV, they're slamming on the ground, breaking. She's taking them into the house. "I'm gon' embarass you today, motherf-er! Gon disrespect MY house. "You gon' disrespect MY house?! I told you I don't want them over here!" To my husband: "I'ma show you who REALLY wears the pants around HERE!" K: "Man, she's a b-tch man" P: "Damn right I'm a b-tch! Yeah, that's what I am! And I ain't holding my tongue for nobody, baby!" So half of this I'm not catching. The entire time her mother's attempting to play hostess, trying to distract me and explain her daughter at the same time. Anyway, K has to go in and PHYSICALLY restrain his wife. I can hear her screaming in the house "I DONT KNOW THEM AND I DON'T WANT TO KNOW THEM!" I put my baby in his carseat. Her mother says "Oh, baby, I am so so sorry!" I told her "It's okay, ma'am. Open Question: A classic "do you think he likes me?" question. Answer?

Okay I don't want to make this extra long so I'm going to base this on just today. Last night he texted me and asked if I wanted to meet him and our friend in the morning to skip school as it is the last day before the summer holidays. I met them and a lot of our friends came along too. We sat in the park in town and we were just flirting a little - you know that kind of flirting where you sit next to and poke each other and stuff, but that was it really. We went to get something to eat and then went to the sweetie shop. He saw me eying up the Tootie Fruites and I sweetly said "Can I have these, please?" so he bought them for me. We went back to the park and were just the same for the rest of the day, sharing Tootie Fruities and talking about random stuff. A few hours later, he needed to go to the community center to get a ticket to see a film, and asked me if I wanted to come with him (to the community center, not to the film - he was going with him "boys"). I went with him and we went to put some music on the juke-box in the games room. There were only two other people there, and we drove them away so it was empty. We listened to Grease soundtracks and played air-hockey. Then we stuck on some cheesy old music like "When you say nothing at all" by Ronan Keating, and sung to it. He asked if I wanted anything from the tuck shop and I wanted a caramel freddo so he bought me one and said "Aww, little chocolate for a little girl". Then we sat on the couch and sung some more and he was lying down with his head on my knee. Then we went back to the park to see everyone. It was boring so we took three of them back to the community center, we were all sitting together on the couch and me and him were sitting really close together the whole time, so we were touching but not to the point where we were admitting we liked each other or anything. Then he got up, sat back down, looked at me and winked, and then started talking to the guys again. We met two girls who are in our year at school and one of them he disliked, but he took the other ones glasses and when she tried to get them back he kept playfully poking her and stuff, and being just a little like he was with me. Then we left the two girls and all went back to the park again to sit in the sun. Me and him were play fighting all day, and tickling each other and he kept picking me up and lying back on me in the grass and stuff. Shaundi sat in her room thinking of something for her and her boyfriend ,Ash Tray, to do this weekend besides skateboarding. Ash Tray's really name as Ashton Huntley Young but was called Ash Tray because he was an excessive smoker. He was obsessed with skateboarding ever since he was six and got Shaundi into it on her tenth birthday. Shaundi never disliked skating just disliked Ash Tray's favorite skate park. She never went on a real first date with him. I guess thats what you get for dating your best friend. Their first date was at a skate park with him and his 4 close friends. Which Shaundi only call emo kid,skater boy,ollie, and wanna be. Shaundi was the average nothing special girl. She had black hair and dark brown eyes. She wasn't really tall nor really short about 5'5mm She wasn't popular. She wasn't the type that stood out in crowd. The only time she stood out was when their was a camera in front of her. Other then that she was really shy. Suddenly Shaundi thought of an idea. They should go to the movies. It was something that his skate competitions couldn't get In the way of. Shaundi got so excited that she begin to pick out her outfit. She grab her hot pink coogi shirt and black skinny jeans. She dug threw her shoe closet to find her black and hot pink chucks. She was used being alone because her parent were work-a-holics and she was an only child. Shaundi heard Ash Tray pull up outside. She grabbed her hoodie and skateboard then ran outside and got in his car. It was a black ford mustang 05 with two blue strips. In the back were Ash Tray younger siblings Erin and Brett. Erin was a high class stuck up blonde that thought she knew everything. Brett was the guy that always stood in the back that hated to talk to strangers. When they got to the park Shaundi and Ash Tray grabbed their skateboards as Erin and Brett met up with the crew. "Um Shaundi" What Tre" "I was thinking that tonight we go see something scary" "Kewl why not" "Oh and ill pick you up around eleven tonight" K come on let's skate." They stayed at the park and stayed there until it close at 9pm. They dropped Erin and Brett off then went to Shaundi's house and amazingly her mom was home. They walked in and she was sitting on the couch and the first thing Ash Tray said was "hey mom" he had been doing that for the whole 3 years they have been together but it still makes her mad. They walked up to shaundi's room. They sat on the bed and watched tv until 10:40 then shaundi got ready to go to the movies. When they got to the first thing they noticed that there were no good scary movies out. So they decide to just chill at the movies. They hang out in the game room for not even ten minutes before they ran into shaundi ex-boyfriend. Not only was he stronger then Ash Tray but he had he's goons to back him. Ash Tray wasn't looking for a fight but if it came down to it he had a knife in his pocket. He never left home with out his knife. "Shaundi, why this loser over me" "Kris, its been three years grow up and get over it" "You're telling me to grow up your the one that needs to grow up" "Leave her alone" "Back off you little emo punk you wanna take this outside" "Who do you think you are the black bruce lee?" They walked outside behind the movies. Back there was kris's car. Three words stopped shaundi's heart that day "get da choppers". That's the only thing she heard before kris throw her in the car and the rounds went off. shaundi will never forget the night the man she thought she loved was killed right in front of her very eyes and the murderer walked free. 5 Months Later Shaundi was watching the news and found out Kris was shot in gang related violence. Shaundi decided since the murderer is dead and there's now way to bring Ash Tray back she's going to move on. Tonight i'm babysitting from 5:30 to 12am. A 5 year old boy who is somewhat calm. A 2 year old girl who is over the top hyper!! I am a 13 year old girl. They live out in the "country".Their neighbors have a tiger, peacocks, ponys, lots of deer, and they have chickens in a chicken coop. So i dont want to do anything outside. Open Question: What should i say to this boy?

i have a friend, who is a boy, that has a gf. she doesnt pay a lot of attention to him. last night i went to one of his soccer games bc he invited me. he didnt talk to me at all, but his gf was all flirty with him and kept hitting him and hanging on him, and last time i went to a game they barley even talked! every time i see the girl she gives me mean glares and she tried to add me on facebook, i dont know why and i asked him and he didnt know either. last night he was really upset. he told me that he felt like a worthless peice of crap...not saying much more....anyway i told him that i liked him and that he was worth something. he still was in a sad mood after i logged off and i have no idea what to say to him! i mean he and his gf are like always fighting and was telling him that her life was bad( we all think shes lieing.)....what should i say to him to make him feel better? i've tried so hard and even some adult friends of ours have tried to tell him that his gf was just lieing so that he wouldnt break up with her. i really like this boy and i dont wanna see him hurt anymore. please help!we are both 15 years old....just so you know more

Resolved Question: Leash Training an almost five month old retriever?

'Tanner is a good boy and we're training him to do his *business* outside the yard. We only got him 3 days ago from a shelter. What kind of things should I be expecting at this stage of the game. I know not a lot but I'd like to be able to walk him without going in and out of the legs and when he pulls I stop until the leash relaxes (the pulling of course causes his own demise of choking). At this stage should he just be going in the yard (not ideal bc it's small and I have children) or how can we both be getting on the right track. What tips can you give to enable me to be a better dog owner ? Cheers!I meant to say if it's not very clear, that when Tanner pulls, I stop automatically so he has no choice but to stop pulling or that was the idea, however he will keep trying to pull and end up choking and gasping for air, doesn't look good or sound good Also being a surrendered shelter dog, he's needing that special care so other tips would be very helpful. more
