Resolved Question: I want to open up a Online Business, where would I find reliable information on Wholesale Companies?

I have over 10 years experience with running a Online Business selling Office Products, Electronics and Home Decor items. I also have 6 years of experience with selling on Ebay & Amazon.com, with all this experience I am positive I would be able to run my own Online Business but in order to get it started I need products to sell. As everybody knows already, you can't find Reliable Wholesale or Drop Ship companies on the internet. There are a lot of scams and promises that they promise on the Drop Ship Companies that you do find online but at the end of the day you do not make any profit off the items you sell at all. There must be another way to find these Drop Ship Companies and or Wholesale Distributor's that are legit and reliable that have been in business for years. Where I work we use a very good Reliable Drop Shipping Company but it would not be right if I open up an account on my own with the same company that I use when I am at my job, its just not right. Where could I find these Drop Ship Companies? I dont dare ask my boss how did he find out about the Drop Ship companies that he we use at my job because that is too damn obvious. Any information that you might be able to share with me, I would be highly appreciated. Thank You more

Resolved Question: Would this help my business?

I own and operate an online store (still under construction) which features home entertainment, electronics, automotive, home decor, furniture, housware, etc. I am offering free shipping on every product store wide, all the time! Forever & ever. The prices on the products are close to wholesale price. For example, a $6,000 Plasma Screen TV that I would be selling would be marked down to around $2,000. Do you think this is a good idea? Do you think this will draw people to do business with my online store, when the prices are lower and free shipping is always included? Or what ideas do you propose I take into consideration? And by the way I do integrate some of the shipping cost into the product's selling price. The reason why I can offer so many products at lower prices is because I do not pay for any products until the products sell. This mean I have the money to advertise, etc. The reason I do offer products at around wholesale is because I am partnered with a wholesale marketer provider. The products are all new, if some are not new yet refurbished it is mentioned in the certain product's description. more

Resolved Question: What trade shows can I attend in Atlanta area?

Hi, I have a small biz for selling impoted gifts from Egypt. Mainly papyrus, jewelry and home decor items (christmas ornaments, handmade glassware, alabaster jars, and gass perfume bottles). For the past year I have been selling online through our web site www.egyptiangiftstore.com I was wondering if it would be a good idea to sell face to face at trade shows, swap meets, flea markets and the like. What would be a good venue to start with, I am looking for something within driving distance of Atlanta, GA and with clients that are retail consumers or small shop owners looking to buy wholesale. Thanks. Mohamed more
