Open Question: Which one of these would you prefer to use to cover a piece of driftwood with? (Yes its in the right section.)?

I put this in the fish section and not like landscaping or whatever because fishkeepers usually would know a lot about this. Right now I have a piece of driftwood thats really plain and I want to stick in my fish tank. Open Question: Can someone really creative help me with an anniversary gift for my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I are having our year anniversary, and I've already started making gifts for him. I found a few good ideas online, but I'm having some huge issues making it work the way I want it to. He's really into the cute romantic stuff, which is good because I don't have any money right now, since I'm a full time college student. So, here's what I have/ am planning. I'm doing one of those past/present/future gifts... so for the Past I got this journal... and so far I've highlighted as many of the good things we've been through as I can remember. But I had this image of it being a lot better than it is... and the things I'm remembering are only taking up a few pages. What else can I put in there? For the Present... I have this cute card (we're a pretty cute/mushy couple) that says "In a sea full of fishies... you're the only fishy for me". And of course I bought him a fish... he's been saying we need to get a pet together, so I thought this one would be easy. For the Future, I got a big box which I'm labeling 'Possibilities'... and I'm putting a ton of note cards in there with different things I want to do or see with him. Any ideas on what else I can put in there? Also, I have a stuffed dog I'm putting in there which is why I got a big box instead of a small one. I have a card, too, that says "In a future of endless possibilities... the only thing I'm sure of is that I want to spend it with you". Any ideas at all would be great!! more

i'm not fishing 4 compliments or 4 sympathy REALLY I'M NOT!!!!!! Resolved Question: Cover up tattoo question?

I have three script lines from a poem in black in on my right hip (about the length of a hand) that I need either covered up with a new tattoo or lasered off (which scares me immensely). The tattoo came out poorly (artist's fault). I've been to a few tattoo shops and I wasn't crazy about what they said would effectively cover up the tattoo: koi fish, skulls, eagles, flowers. I started looking around and I think I actually do like the idea of a few intertwining branches of cherry blossoms to cover up each line. And above the branches I might put "Love is the beauty of the soul" in script. Can the flowers have any color to cover up the words or do they have to be black and gray (I prob wouldn't mind either way, just wondering). I've been thinking about this for awhile and I can't come up with any other ideas for a good cover up, do any other images work well that I haven't listed? Also, if anyone can recommend REALLY good tattoo shops in Manhattan or Brooklyn that would be excellent. And if anyone can share any experiences with lasering off tattoos that would be great too. Alright, I know she is a female because she is not very pretty. She also has a huge belly. I am a younger person, I will say. My mom says its okay about my fish. I kind of didn't tell her at first but she let me keep them. I got them from my friend who is fascinated by fish. She has at least a 50g tank. It's filled with guppies. She gave me 2, and that was all I could handle. It came to my conclusion that the female, might be pregnant. She has a dark pink gravid spot, and a huge belly.She won't eat, she goes for the food, just to push it away. She is much slower than the male. She follows him around, though. So, is she pregnant? Please give me a good answer. Resolved Question: How can i get my girlfriend to get help for her problems with self-image and food?

For the last couple of months my girlfriend has been dealing with some serious eating problems and self-image problems. I'm at a point where I'm not sure how to help her. I wanted to know if I'm overreacting or if my concern is warranted. For a while now she has become obsessed with her weight. This plays out in several ways: she becomes very emotional and isolates herself b/c she doesn't want anyone to see her "b/c she is so big" (3-5 times a week), taking multiple showers everyday, counting calories very closely, talking about how stupid she is for binge eating (a binge to her is a pretty normal meal). She also tries to eat very healthy, she sticks to fruits, vegetables, and organic food, and occasionally fish. But her diet is greatly lacking in variety. I think most days she doesn't even break 1200 calories, but i suspect she frequently falls far short of that amount. A month ago she built up the courage to go to the nutritionist, but she only went twice. She freaked out when the doctor suggested she see someone who specialized in eating disorders. She is scared to death of doctors, and even more afraid of being diagnosed with a mental disease (some depression and other mental disease in her family and she refuses to become apart of that). Long story short, i've tried to help her but her response is always that she is taking care of it (its been months now). However, when she say shes taking care of it she just talks about eating healthier, not binge eating, and "not being fat". How can i help her? How can i get her to get help? A little information: She is 5'8'' She is 119lb She is very honest with me She has tried to throw up on several occasions (unsuccessfully) She frequently takes laxatives when she starts to feel like she ate to much Sorry for the scattered post, i'm just trying to not leave anything out (but i'm sure i have). The Bulb came with a fish tank kit that I bought, but it has no markings on the bulb itself. The box they came in says: 15W T10 120V Part Nr. R27154 And that's it. So, I would really like to know if this is an incandescent, florescent or what ever type of bulb it is, please. i'm really ugly, and have a weird mouth and nose.. i am normal height 5'4-5'5 for my age, i'm 13. but i'm really skinny and flat my body is disgusting it just doesn't look right.. its nice all the way up to my boobs then there really small (nearly a 32b) and my shoulders are tiny, like a small boys. i have blonde hair and blue eyes (though in the photo it is orange as it went wrong) my body is horrible! when am i going to put on weight? and get curves? everyone hates skinny people like victoria beckham.. and i dont like it either, i just have a high metabolism i have size 6 shoes, is this big or small? omg im such a freak argh! here is a photo of me... I was supposed to write a short story for English 11. What do you think? Any opinions on how to make it better? or is it good as it is ~ A great fire consumed the temple of Huitzilopochtli and a strange appearance was sighted in the eastern sky. A woman wept in the middle of the night while a massive lightning bolt destroyed the straw temple of Xiuhtecuhtli. An unknown creature that was caught in the sea while fishing puzzled the whole empire for days. All these signs were omens that happened 10 years prior to the horrors that haunted the Aztec Empire until its demise. Cuauhtémoc was standing on the edge of Templo Mayor, watching Tenochtitlan burn up in flames. Down below was a sight that he never thought would be a reality. His mighty empire had crumbled to ruins right before his eyes. Spaniards were parading vigorously through the burning city, slaying everything in their sight. But how could this have happened? Upon the mysterious arrival of the Spaniards, Cuauhtémoc was assured that the Gods had sent them a gift, not a curse. He thought to himself how foolish he was, that the unfortunate events that followed their arrival were a warnings that he had not acknowledged. Cuauhtémoc’s army consisted of the most powerful warriors in the land. The Jaguar Knight, a soldier that endured the hardest of the physical challenges, was the protector of the people. The Aztec army was a brute force to be reckoned with, but retaliation was not an option to use against the conquistadors. The Spanish military, riding through the temples and streets, shining in their cold steel armor, brought fear into the eyes of the Aztec warriors. Hearing the agonizing screams of his people, Cuauhtémoc bowed his head in shame and began to descend down the stairs of the temple. He dared not to look, for the image of the city ablaze and the lifeless bodies of the victims scattered on the ground ached his weakened heart. He had come to a final decision. I've been making- well, starting - a bunch of animations starring different characters, but then I decided I could make one with all of them. Resolved Question: How do you fish and remove a hook from a Walleye or a Northern Pike?

I have fished a little for each. I was always with someone else, so I didn't know exactly what I was doing. I have never caught a walleye. I used a lindy rig and a leech/nightcrawler. I would troll, and leave the deadbolt open, hold the line, and when I felt bites, I would let line go for 10 secs (5 with leech), then flip deadbolt closed, set the hook, pull it in. I caught bass but no walleye, but I was fishing in the middle of the day. I use 12 pound test. Will my rod be able to hold up? About northern... I have caught them before, and I just use a Gold Doctor or a daredevil. I believe you take these fish off about the same way. OK, what I want to know, will my rod hold up, how do you take a northern pike/walleye off a hook, and how do you fish them effectively (What time of day, what kind of area). Please help!!! Also, I'm MAINLY interested in walleye, especially to eat. Northern, not so much, they're only good for catching not eating. Thanks! more
